Mom's Birthday / Limo

My Mama celebrates her birthday 2 days after Christmas every year.  Sometimes it appears to be a little forgotten as it is so close to Christmas.... but, not this year!  This year we celebrated in style.  We went out to eat - all of us.  All of her kids and their spouses and my dad.  That equals 12 in total.  Wowza!

After supper we all piled into a limo and went around looking at Christmas lights!  In between looking at lights all of the men took turns sharing their story of how they proposed to their wives.  Very special night.

I don't know about all of you but I genuinely love and adore my family.  As I've probably mentioned a few hundred times before, my parents are amazing people.  They raised 5 children and I would put all that I own on the fact that all 5 of us would tell you that our parents are the greatest role models in the world.  They are kind, generous, hard working, Christian, wonderful people who have taught us that besides Christ, family is the most important thing in life.  This value shines through even today as all of my siblings and I are grown and raising families or starting families of our own.  Even with crazy busy schedules and literally states between us, we continue to find time to appreciate and enjoy each other.

Thank you Mom and Dad for not just telling us the way of life, but actually showing us.

I love you.
