This past Saturday my parents had their 40th wedding anniversary! 40 years in love! Isn't that incredible. To have a partner in life, walking beside you, supporting you, loving you, and sharing all the good and bad - well isn't that just awsome? My parents are not only just great role models for marriage but also great role models as parents. Us kids (and I'm pretty sure the in-law's say the same thing) think are parents are top notch and we love them so so so much.
To celebrate their anniversary we first went out to eat and then for a night at the cabin. It was a blast. It is not often that we get together as adult only party....generally there are 11 kids under the age of 10 running around! We are only so sad that Darrin and Mandy didn't make it, but they are coming this weekend and maybe it will be a do-over!!
Isn't the Hibachi grill fun and tasty! I never knew that a little asian man with a spatula, an egg and flammable alcohol could be so fascinating!
