It has become a tradition to have "Happy Hour" with my in-laws (meaning my mom-in-law and my sis-in-law + all of our kids!) on Friday nights we get together and have a couple of drinks. But in reality it is really just a way to get together, socialize and spend time with family. Well, tonight we had happy hour at my mom-in-laws and as I was talking with her and having fun, I was thinking to myself how lucky I am to not only to "like" my mother-in-law but truly "LOVE" my mother-in-law. I have known people who really wouldn't mind if their mother-in-law's dropped off the face of the Earth (okay, that is a bit of an exaggeration, but you are getting my point). But I feel so bad for them because I can't imagine what that would be like. How much they are missing out on. I feel that my mother-in-law and I have an extraordinary relationship and I feel so very honored to be considered not only her daughter-in-law but also her friend.
Here's to you Bonnie.....love ya!!
