Craziness

The other day I am doing my thing and I hear my phone jingle, indicating that I had a text message.  So I proceed to look at it and THIS is what pops up..............................

 

 

Yes, that is a lady sunbathing in her swimming suit with a fur hat on in the middle of winter in Minnesota (temps are in their 30's).

 

And yes, that is my mother.

 

I nearly dropped my phone I was so surprised and laughed so hard.  My mom is silly and goofy and doing funny things to make people laugh is her thing so this picture totally fit her character, but, then I got to thinking.  There is no way my mom knew how to set the self portrait timer on her camera so she must have had a partner in crime here - of course my dad.  Ha - they are the goofiest people and I love them!

 

And you are still probably wondering, "Okay so what's the real story?  Why is she really out there like that?"
