A Whole New Look

This past weekend there was some planning in the works to paint my mother-in-laws house.  A project that has been in mind for awhile now.  So on Thursday night I went shopping for some paint at Menard's, howevr, as I was there I of course found a couple of other ideas that would help transform her house.
  
That darn Menard's will do that.  Their marketing people have that all figured out, as you walk down the isle and can't stop putting things into your cart!!  Then all of a sudden, out of no where, your cart is full and your checkbook is empty and....well, we'll save the rest of that for another day.

Well after I left there, I was so excited that I went to Target, and, after shopping for far to long was asked to leave because the store was going to be closing in 5 minutes.  At this point I was thinking to myself, "Somebody help me.  I have a problem, this isn't even for MY house!" 

After I was kicked out of Target I called my sister-in-law, Brandi, who was helping me with this project.  I called to confess my recent obsession and you know what she said to me?  Yup, she confirmed it.  She said, "Shelly, you have a problem."  Ha - just kidding.  She said she had been thinking the exact same thing!  Bingo....we now have a show called, "Weekend Makeover Addition".  Mind you that my mother-in-law thought we were only going to paint her house.  She had no idea about our other plans such as basically redoing her entire lower level of her house with decorating, flat screen tv, rugs, new blinds, etc.  We planned that she needed to watch grand kids during our adventure.  We really wanted to surprise her.
