I have always loved the start of school. As a kid I remember being so excited to go back to the classroom and anxious to learn....of course I never said that out loud for fear of being teased. This excitement never did go away, even all the way through college. Well today was my big guys 1st day of pre-school (second year of pre-school as he attended last year as well). He was so excited! I am SO proud of him. He had a great 1st day. He told me he met new friends and his favorite part was playing in the gym (of course)! I think I am just as excited for him to go to school as if it were me - ha! I am so glad he loves school as much as his mommy. I hope this continues for many years to come.
Oh and we must not forget that Joey is attending what we call "Daddy School" this year. Otherwise he feels left out. And Daddy promised that when Grandpa is harvesting, Joey will get to ride the combine when attending "Daddy School". Now he asks everyday if today is the day to go ride Papa's Combine - ha.
