Unfortunately I am having an allergic reaction to penicillin (I had strep throat about 10 days ago). I have hives all over my body that are very itchy and I am swollen all over. I can hardly walk. I have missed 3 days of work now and am still feeling pretty miserable. The doc's say it is just one of those things that I have to wait out. Boo. This is not fun.
On the up side my family is being wonderful and so supportive. My mom came over and distracted me all day yesterday (and is coming again tonight). There is something about having your mom near you when you are sick. I means I'm 30 and still love having by my side. My sister Wendy takes my Jesser to pre-school for me. My sister Christy is my on-call nurse and last but not least my husband. He is WONDERFUL. He talked me to sleep one night. Has taken off work to take care of our kids. Kisses me and comforts me that everything is going to be okay. I hope I get over this soon.
