Hello. For those of you who don't already know and I guess for those of you who do - we are working on finishing our basement. We now have a it all framed up, plumbing done, electrical done and dumbdadaDA....junk moved out! This week the sheetrock is to be hung. I am so, So, SO excited for this! I know I am probably crazy. I am excited and anxious at the same time because I know there is going to be a mess...a BIG mess. I'm not sure I'm ready for that. I don't think I fully understand the mess that is about to come, but from what everyone keeps telling me, it stinks. But right now, I don't care. All I can think about is having walls, more living space and my family all cuddled up watching a movie while the fireplace is going and popcorn is being eaten. That's what in my head. Please bare with me the next couple of weeks when I regret writing this. Please remind me that I am excited for this to happen and that the mess will be over soon. I promise I will document the progress with pictures. Maybe that should be the focus of my blog over the next however long while we get this project completed..........no...........you would get bored reading about paint colors, cupboards, toilets, and rock. I'll mix it up....a little kids, a little house and little of this and a little of that and all of a sudden we are making hotdish. Okay, I'm going now. All I do is ramble anyways. See ya soon.

oh yeah....unless you are my sister Digger (aka Wendy) who probably could live and breathe house renovations for all of her days. Poor thing.
