I'm Officially "Old"

So today is my bithday - the big "30"! And ya know, I'm okay with 30. You're going to call me crazy but I am actually excited to be 30. I feel like this stage of life fits me well right now (it better cuz I don't have much choice in it)! I am a wife, a proud mother of two sons and have a successful career - I'm not saying this to toot my own horn. I am saying this because I am proud of myself and the accomplishments that I have made. Just think about this. During my 20's the following things happened:

• I partied like a rock star
• I graduated with my bachelor's degree
• I had my heart broken
• I broke hearts
• I worked as a bartender
• I scared my parents half to death about a million times
• I made the great friends in college -WOW did we have fun (housekeeping?)
• I met my soulmate
• I graduated with my master's degree
• I learned that my parents actually do know what they are talking about and are generally right
• I said good bye to "Sohre" and hello to "Cornish" and married the love of my life
• I gave birth to 2 amazing little boys
• I have a career that is treating me well and that I love
• I bought a house
• I learned that my sisters are forever my best friends
• I learned that I miss my brother now that he doesn't live right next to me
• I ran a 10K
• I traded in wild nights for rocking my boys to sleep

I loved my 20's! Man I had a lot of fun. I wouldn't change a thing -- but I can honestly tell you that my parents are so happy that I am done with my 20's and entering my 30's. They think the next decade is going to be a little less crazy - we'll see! If I did all of that in my 20's just think what I can do in my 30's!!! ha ha Ya can't stop the clock so you might as well enjoy the ride!
