Jesse turned 3 years old on Jan. 30th! The night before his birthday after the boys went to sleep I blew up hundreds of balloons (okay not hundreds but it felt like it as I was light headed!!) and decorated the whole house with streamers, balloons and fun stuff for his birthday. I wanted him to feel special when he woke up as I figure this will be his first birthday he actually remembers. I wanted him to feel like a KING!!

I woke up in the morning to hear the door knob opening. I could tell it was Joey by his not so smooth door opening skills. Joey says "Boons" (aka Balloons). I had put about 5 balloons right outside of their bedroom door. Then Jesse walks out and says with his arms in the air, "It's my Bir-day" He was so excited!

Jesse had a blast all day long as we didn't have a formal birhtday party this year for him but rather a come and go celebration. So we had visitors all day long. And every visitor got to eat cake - and so did Jesse, with every visitor!! He probably had 5 pieces of cake that day and he loved every bite!!
As for me - I can't believe my baby is 3 years old already. It seems like yesterday we were at the hospital and I looked up and Jes and said, "What should we name him?" And Jes looks at our new baby and say, "let's name him Jesse." Our little Jesse changed our lives - I thank the Lord every night for our sweet little blessings.

Wow they grow up fast!
