Our friends Jeremy & Jennie got married the weekend of August 29th and Jes was actually in the wedding. The wedding was in Redwing at Treasure Island. Being that Jes had to be there for the Groom's Supper we were there for 2 nights - Without the Boys!!! I was so excited about the weekend because we have never left them for 2 nights but as the time came to drop them off at daycare and then knowing that I wouldn't be picking them up but rather my mom (which of course they were in very experienced hands being she raised 5 kids!) I was sad. So sad in fact that I cried for 10 minutes before I gained my composure again. Throughout the weekend I probably called my Mom 20 times. I knew they were fine and having a blast at the farm but I just missed them.
As for Jes and I though we had a Wonderful time at the wedding and enjoyed being husband and wife for a weekend without kids. Time away from them is good but it is always nice to come home. Here are a couple of shots from the wedding. Sorry, I wasn't very good with the camera during the weekend - apparently I am only camera happy when the boys are around - go figure!
So this picture has nothing to do with our weekend away but I just love this picture of my hubby. Isn't he so cute!!! My Dad is letting him borrow one of his Harley Davidson's and Jes is grinning from ear to ear everytime he rides it!! Thanks Dad. Happy Husband = Happy Wife.
